Jean Louis Marcel Cosson ( France 1878-1956 ) – Entrance to the ballroom
Cosson, a French artist, known for his beautiful oil paintings of the theater and ballet. Like his muse Degas, he was a real specialist in it. As a member of the Society of French Artists, Cosson received an honorable mention in 1901 and a 3rd class medal in 1911. He exhibited in the Salon de la National and the Tuileries, among others.
