Willem Steelink jr. (1856-1928) – Country road with figures

The Dutch artist Willem Steelink, born in Amsterdam, has received many awards for his work. The Belgian Crown Order, the Italian Lazarus Order and a gold medal in Munich (Germany). Steelink has been knighted as an Officer in the Dutch Order of Orange-Nassau and was one of the artists affiliated with the Pulchri Studio in The Hague. He was also a member of Arti et Armicitea in Amsterdam. The largest collection of his works is on display in the Municipal Museum of The Hague.
