Gaston De Biemme – interior with sunny courtyard

Gaston De Biemme worked as a artist in Belgium and later also in France. That was in the 19th, early 20th century. Not much is known about his origin or education. His artistic gift therefore stood out. De Biemme mainly painted harbor views, marsh and river landscapes. He is counted among the Molse School. De Biemme participated, among other things, in the triennial Salon of Brussels in 1903. Around 1920 he made some paintings in Paris, including the “Vue du Pont Neuf à Paris”. De Biemme signed his works with “G. De Biemme” where he put a thick line on the G.
