Sold

Who says the Hague School, also says Louis Willem van Soest who settled in The Hague in 1891. His talent quickly catches the eye, he is part of the well-known masters of the Hague School, deals with the Marissen and is a working member of Pulchri Studio. Together with one of Weissenbruch, Van Soest goes into the field to paint. He is distinguished by his winter views that are inferior to Breitner’s work. It is said a lot, Louis Willem van Soest is a highly underrated painter when you compare the quality of his paintings with painters who have received much appreciation. This is another beautiful painting of a winter cityscape.
